Job summary

UW Medical Centers in Seattle are seeking a Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our NICU team, delivering evidence-based neonatal care to high-risk and well newborns. The APP will work under the neonatologist and may bill for services rendered as appropriate to the role.

Requirements include a WA-licensed ARNP or PA-C, a WA prescriptive license, neonatal certification and 3+ years in a Level III NICU, plus DEA registration.

Qualifications

• Current Washington license as ARNP or PA-C.
• Prescriptive authority license in Washington.
• ARNP: NCC neonatal certification.
• PA: National board certification (ANA or NAPNAP).
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification current.
• Master’s degree from an accredited program.
• Three or more years of experience as an NNP or PA in a Level III NICU.
• DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care under the direct supervision of the attending neonatologist.
• Function independently within scope of practice.
• Ensure continuity of care for neonatal patients and families.
• Bill for services rendered, as appropriate to role.
