Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider to join the Southwest Utah Neonatology Team, covering St George Regional NICU and Cedar City Hospital. You will attend deliveries, provide resuscitation, and care for neonates across high-acuity cases with support from a multidisciplinary team.

You’ll focus on keeping babies with mothers in Cedar City when medically feasible, and participate in credentialing and family-centered care as part of a 24/7 service model.

Qualifications

• Board certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Neonatal Fellowship.
• Active Utah APRN or PA license and ability to obtain before start.
• DEA Certificate II–V and BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Successful completion of Intermountain Health credentialing process.

Responsibilities

• Attend deliveries and provide immediate resuscitation support.
• Care for neonates in NICU and NICU step-down settings.
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, social workers and pediatricians.
• Educate team members and support staff on neonatal care practices.
