RWJBarnabas Health's Neonatal program seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver care to neonates, infants and young children in a multidisciplinary NICU setting. Qualifications

APN license and RN license required.
NNP or Pediatric Acute Care NP certification with NICU/inpatient experience expected.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions in collaboration with physicians.
Develop and implement treatment plans with the healthcare team.
Perform procedures as necessary.
Collaborate with nurses and other professionals for coordinated care.
Communicate with patients and families about treatment plans and education.

Job description

Job Overview:

The Neonatal Advanced Practice Providerprovides health care to neonates, infants and children up to one year of age. The APP provides care for critically ill premature and full-term infants with emphasis place on family centered culturally diverse sensitive care. In collaboration with the Neonatologist, the APPhas daily responsibility for the assessment and management of patients in high and low acuity.

The Advanced Practice Provider practices in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to provide a continuum of primary, acute and or subspecialty healthcare to their patients.

They enhance the quality of care through education and clinical practice utilizing advanced practice, knowledge and research.

Pay Transparency:

Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year

The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

General Requirements:

- NNP Certification with NICU RN experience
- Primary Care Pediatric NP Certification withAPP experience in an inpatient setting
- Acute Care Pediatric NP Certification with PICU setting procedural experience as an APP

PA Specific Requirements:

PA License
PICUprocedural experience or NICU experience as an APP
NCCPA

Scheduling Requirements:

Full Time
36 hrs (12hr shifts: day/night/weekends/holidays)

Essential Functions:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients.

Develop and implement treatment plansin collaboration with the healthcare team.

Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Stay current with medical best practices, guidelines, and regulations.
Engage in continuing education and professional development activities.
Participate in research or quality improvement projects as directed or needed.
