Job summary

MTC is seeking reliable Transporters to join our Henderson team. In this role, you will operate company vehicles, assist passengers, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely arrivals and safe transport across Southern Nevada.

You will work independently yet be part of a collaborative team focused on safety and high-quality service for diverse communities. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 22 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Nevada driver's license with a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience.
• Acceptable driving record in accordance with company standards (no major violations, suspensions, or at-fault accidents).
• CPR certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers between residences, healthcare facilities, and other destinations throughout Henderson and the surrounding areas.
• Use navigation tools and dispatch systems to ensure timely arrivals and efficient routing.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding trip status, delays, and updates.
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles using proper techniques and equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, stretchers).
• Secure passengers and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure operational readiness.
• Complete trip logs, documentation, and reporting accurately and on time.
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA.
• Provide professional, respectful service and support to a diverse population.
• Report incidents, delays, or concerns promptly to dispatch or management.
• Work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
