Job summary

BlueCare in Mackay is seeking an Administration / Scheduling Officer. This permanent full-time role supports neighbourhood teams, handles front-line enquiries, and assists with rostering and diary management.

You will use MS Office and database applications, maintain accurate information in BlueCare systems, and contribute to efficient office operations. Salary is $33.22 per hour plus super, with salary packaging and employee discounts available.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous rostering/scheduling experience is highly regarded.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and database applications.
• Comfort with smartphones and digital devices or willingness to learn.
• Can-do attitude with ability to prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate teams within each neighbourhood.
• Be the first point of contact for internal and external customers.
• Manage requests, concerns and inquiries.
• Roster and scheduling support for the neighbourhood.
• Create correspondence and documentation.
• Organise appointments, diaries, travel and meeting prep.
• Monitor and distribute office supplies and arrange equipment maintenance.
• Ensure data integrity in BlueCare systems and databases.
• Use Microsoft Office and database applications.
• Assist senior staff with special projects.

Employment Status: Permanent Full Time

Key Responsibilities Include But Are Limited To

• Supporting and coordinating different teams within each neighbourhood
• Be the first point of contact for internal and external customers - via phone, email and in person
• Manage requests, concerns and inquiries
• Rostering and scheduling support for the neighbourhood
• Creation of correspondence and documentation as requested
• Efficiently organise appointments, diaries, travel and meeting/workshop preparatory arrangements.
• Monitor, order and distribute office supplies and arrange for the maintenance/repair of office equipment
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of information in financial, human resource and other Blue Care systems and databases
• Use mainstream software including the Microsoft Office Suite and database applications (Intermediate - Advanced skills required)
• Assist senior staff with special projects as required
