Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland is seeking a Regional Team Coordinator for Lifeline in Mackay. The role supports the Regional Manager with admin duties, financial processing and reporting, while helping drive initiatives to boost services and revenue.

You will coordinate operations, manage rostering and timekeeping, and contribute to a safe, compliant and donor‑focused workplace within a not‑for‑profit charity network.

Qualifications

  • Experience providing admin support with high judgement and confidentiality.
  • Experience processing financial transactions and maintaining records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across levels.

  • Experience leading rostering and timekeeping within budgets.

As a Regional Team Coordinator, you’ll be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered, contributing to the meaningful work of Queensland’s leading charity retail brand. Everyday our 120 stores across Queensland sell donated goods, giving pre-loved items a second life and bringing in profit to support our Crisis Support Line and suicide prevention services.

Your part in our Lifeline team

Acting as the integral link between the store, warehouse and the Regional Business Manager/s your accountabilities will include:

  • Provide a wide range of administrative support to Regional Business Manager/s which require a high degree of judgement, initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity
  • Undertake the processing of a range of general financial functions and record management services to support the Regional Business Managers
  • Assist with the implementation of initiatives to improve our service offering such as Communications strategy, event management to maximise revenue potential and process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Coordinate and manage all facets of the operations administration to meet required deadlines and changing business priorities.
  • Support the Regional Business Manager/s in reporting and overseeing information provided for WHS, Workforce Reporting and Rostering, Accounts management and other compliance activities as required.
  • Embrace the organisation’s mission, values and future directions.
  • Demonstrate daily discipline though effective management of own time, meeting performance

  • Demonstrated experience in rostering and timekeeping principles
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, lead and mentor effective staff teams working within established budget, direction and guidelines.
