Job summary

The Town of Frederick is seeking a Neighborhood Services Officer to perform professional code compliance and neighborhood services work to keep properties and neighborhoods safe, attractive, and well-maintained.

You will investigate Municipal and Land Use Code violations, conduct inspections, educate residents, and coordinate with Planning, Building, Police, Public Works, Parks, and other departments to achieve timely and equitable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Investigates Municipal Code and Land Use Code violations.
• Conducts proactive inspections of properties and neighborhoods.
• Educates residents and property owners on code requirements.
• Manages assigned cases from identification through voluntary compliance, enforcement, abatement, or court action.
