Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions seeks a seasoned Mainframe Developer to design, develop, and support IBM mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM. You will identify modernization opportunities with AI/GenAI and build automation for code analysis, testing, and documentation.

You will integrate mainframe systems with cloud platforms, APIs, and AI services while collaborating with stakeholders to define technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on IBM Mainframe development experience.
• Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, IMS, and TSO/ISPF.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and system integration concepts.
• Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and Generative AI technologies.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-assisted development tools.
