Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis and impact assessment for enhancements, defects, modernization or regulatory changes.
• Design, develop, enhance and maintain application components using mainframe tech aligned with standards.
• Perform analysis, coding, unit testing and documentation for batch, online and interfaces.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and defects.
• Support system testing, integration testing and UAT with defect fixes and data validation.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, release planning and operational readiness.
• AI/GenAI exp, contribute knowledge of AI tools as applicable.

Job Description

• Participate in requirements analysis and impact assessment for enhancements defect fixes modernization or regulatory changes
• Design develops enhance and maintain application components using standard mainframe technologies ensuring alignment with client's approved coding security and architectural standards
• Perform analysis coding unit testing and documentation for batch programs online transactions and interfaces running on the mainframe platform
• Analyze troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and defects
• Support system testing integration testing and user acceptance testing UAT by providing defect fixes data corrections and validation support
• Participate in code reviews design reviews release planning and operational readiness activities.
• AI/GenAI exp, if you have work or learning knowledge any AI tools.

Must Have Skills

• Very strong on Mainframe Enterprise Cobol, JCL.
• Handson and an expert in VSAM, DB2 and CICS.
• Client is looking for hands-on and senior resources with expertise who can set up and drive the team.
