Job summary

Altasciences Co. is looking for a Necropsy Technician in Columbia Township, Missouri, to provide high-quality processing of pathological specimens. Responsibilities include training on SOPs, conducting necropsies, and maintaining the necropsy suites.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year biological science or laboratory related work if B.S. or B.A. degree requirement not met.
• Basic bench chemistry skills necessary.

Responsibilities

• Process pathological specimens through gross examinations, necropsies, and tissue processing.
• Train on core SOPs and maintain necropsy suites.
• Assist with chemical and waste management.

Skills

Working knowledge of anatomic biology

Basic computer skills, MS Office Suite

Proficiency in English

Advanced Math skills

Aptitude for pathology and histology techniques

Strong interpersonal skills

Attention to detail

Education

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
