Job summary

NewsBreak is seeking a Senior Growth/Provider Marketplace Growth lead to own the Nearby AI funnel, from acquisition to monetization, with a product-led mindset. You will build and optimize automated lifecycle journeys, run rapid experiments, and scale high-leverage channels across thousands of providers.

You’ll collaborate with Product and Engineering to refine onboarding, drive activation, and improve provider value while expanding to new verticals and geographies.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in growth or product growth with a track record of scaling acquisition or activation funnels.
• Experience growing SMB, marketplace or local-provider supply.
• Strong funnel analytics skills: defining metrics, cohort views, bottlenecks in data.
• Hands‑on lifecycle marketing and rigorous A/B testing and experiment design.
• Deep understanding of acquisition, activation and retention mechanics.
• Bias-for-action in an early-stage setting with ambiguity.
• Empathy for small-business owners and their decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build and instrument the provider acquisition → activation funnel with metrics by vertical, channel and cohort.
• Launch rapid tests across email, SMS, calls, messaging and onboarding to scale winning playbooks.
• Design automated journeys from prospect to paying customer.
• Scale high-leverage channels including direct outreach, product-led acquisition and partnerships.
• Feed learnings back to Product and Engineering to improve onboarding and provider value.
• Use automation and AI to lower costs while improving retention and monetization.
• Expand the engine from home-services to new verticals and geographies.
