Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a trainee for an NDT program in Everett, WA. You will participate in a structured training plan for a specified method, gaining experience under direct supervision by Level 2/3 and other qualified personnel.

You will not make independent test decisions, but will observe and learn under supervision. The role includes competitive hourly pay from the stated range and shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts, plus robust benefits and PTO opportunities.

Qualifications

• Trainee participation in a stated NDT method for a limited period.
• Experience under direct observation of Level 2/3 in the same method.
• Experience under direct observation of Level 1 or instructor only with approval by the Responsible Level 3.

Job description

• Shall be documented as a trainee and be actively participating in a training program for a stated NDT method for a limited and specified period of time as shown above.
• Shall obtained experience under the direct observation of a Level 2 or Level 3 in the same method.
• Shall obtained experience under the direct observation of a level 1 or instructor only when approved by the Responsible Level 3.
• Shall not make accept or reject decisions.
• Shall not independently conduct tests.
• Shall not independently perform any other NDT functions.
• Other duties as assigned
• Compensation Range $20.77to $ 23.70 per hour (DOE) + Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts
