Job summary

Acuren is seeking RT Assistants in New Orleans, LA to support nondestructive testing activities. The role involves setting up NDT equipment, assisting radiographers with calibration, and conducting tests to identify defects according to written instructions and documented results.

Responsibilities include recording inspection results and helping with NDT procedures while handling equipment and related tasks as directed.

Qualifications

• Valid TWIC card is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Technical background is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other related tasks.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
