Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an NDT Technician to perform in-process and completed inspections on machine parts and assemblies.

You will set up nondestructive testing equipment, conduct tests for defects, and interpret radiographs and digital readouts to determine conformity with specifications. The role requires knowledge of ASNT Level II NDT methods, GD&T per ASME 14.5, and experience with precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• ASNT Level II NDT certification and related training.
• Proficiency with GD&T and precision measurement tools.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and inspecting to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Interpret radiographs, CRTs, and digital readouts to evaluate results.
• Organize and report test results and document findings.
• May supervise others and perform other job-related tasks.
