Job summary

Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. seeks an NDT Inspector to perform non-destructive testing of structures, pipelines and materials using x-ray, ultrasound and related equipment in Midland, Texas.

Responsibilities include selecting and operating NDT methods such as gamma radiography, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, leak testing and visual inspections, documenting results, and supporting a safety-focused field team across long-duration assignments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability through PROtect insurance.
• Certification in RT, UTT, MT, PT is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct non-destructive testing of components and materials per codes, standards, procedures.
• Use appropriate NDT methods for inspections (gamma radiography, x-ray radiography, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, leak testing, visual).
• Select, prepare, load, calibrate, or operate equipment for NDT testing.
• Identify defects using proper testing techniques.
• Complete documentation and work orders per protocols and timeframes.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain safe driving record.
• Instruct assigned assistants and ensure team safety.
