Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is seeking an experienced NDT technician to perform inspections on structures and pipelines using x-ray, ultrasound, and related methods. The role requires selecting and operating NDT equipment, identifying defects, and documenting results per procedures.

Candidates should be able to work long hours, travel as needed, and mentor assistants while maintaining safety of the crew. A high school diploma or GED plus a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• NDT skill, knowledge, or experience.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to regs.
• Ability to work long hours and travel on short notice.
• PAUT experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NDT testing of components and materials per codes, standards, and procedures.
• Utilize appropriate NDT methods including gamma and x-ray radiography, MT, PT, UT, leak testing, and visual inspections.
• Select, load, calibrate, or operate NDT equipment.
• Identify defects using suitable testing techniques.
• Complete documentation and work orders per established protocols and timelines.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain safe driving record.
• Provide instruction to assigned assistants and ensure team safety.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of vehicles and shop areas.
• Perform duties as assigned.
