Job summary

PROtect, LLC seeks an experienced NDT Inspector to perform non-destructive testing on structures, pipelines and components using gamma, x-ray, ultrasonic and related methods. You will select, load, calibrate and operate inspection equipment, identify defects and document results in line with procedures.

The role requires long shifts, on-site work, and occasional travel with a valid driver’s license; TWIC preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Certification in RT/UT/MT/PT desired; TWIC card preferred.
• Demonstrated NDT skill, knowledge, or experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NDT testing in accordance with codes, standards, equipment and procedures.
• Utilize gamma, x-ray, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant and other methods.
• Select, load, calibrate or operate equipment used in NDT inspections.
• Identify defects in materials using appropriate testing techniques.
• Complete documentation and work orders on time following protocols.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain a safe driving record.
• Provide instruction to assigned assistants and ensure team safety.
