Job summary

EXO Inc. is seeking an NDT Technician to inspect structures and utility poles using non-destructive testing methods. You will document findings, assess safety and structural integrity, and provide actionable recommendations based on inspections conducted in the field.

The role requires extensive travel (75%+), strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards. Certification in NDT Level 2 UT/MT/PT is preferred, with CWI a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience with NDT or utilities maintenance.
• Proficient understanding of poles, corrosion, cracks, flaws and safety standards.
• NDT Level 2 UT/MT/PT certifications; CWI preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and report generation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed inspections of structures and utility poles following safety guidelines and company protocols.
• Evaluate structural integrity; look for corrosion, cracks, flaws and interpret results to codes and specs.
• Ensure safety compliance by identifying hazards and recommending actions for repair or replacement.
• Record inspection information in data collection applications with photos and supporting data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate outcomes and support corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of inspection procedures and tools.
