Job summary

Imperium Utility Services is seeking a Field Technician to perform utility pole inspections and in-field data collection using advanced Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) technology. You will identify NESC violations and document results with laser and ultrasonic measurement devices.

Outdoor work is required, with up to 75% interstate travel. The role emphasizes precise data analysis, cloud-based reporting, and strict safety standards to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to walk 5-6 miles per day and carry up to 20 lbs. of equipment.
• Willingness to travel extensively (75% interstate travel required).
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and assessments of utility poles to evaluate their condition.
• Conduct in-field data collection using NDE technology and instruments.
• Utilize laser and ultrasonic measurement devices and cloud-based platforms for data collection and analysis.
• Identify and document NESC violations and other utility-related issues.
• Ensure accurate and detailed reporting of inspection results.
