Job summary

PROtect LLC in Orlando, FL seeks an NDT Inspector to perform non-destructive testing of structures and components using x-ray, ultrasound and related methods. The role emphasizes adherence to codes, standards, and safety procedures on site.

Inspect with gamma/x-ray radiography, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, leak testing and visual methods; document results and support the crew with safety compliance and training.

Qualifications

• Certification in RT, UT, MT or PT NDT methods; PAUT experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license; insurability required.
• Demonstrated NDT skill or experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NDT testing of components and materials per codes, standards, and procedures.
• Use gamma radiography, x-ray radiography, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, leak testing and visual inspection.
• Prepare, load, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment.
• Identify defects using appropriate testing techniques.
• Complete documentation and work orders following protocols and timelines.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain safe driving record.
• Provide instruction to assistants and ensure team safety.
