Job summary

CHIPTON-ROSS Inc. is seeking an NDT Quality Test Specialist (CU) located in Lemoore, CA. The role focuses on assurance of the Field Operations QMS through active engagement and audits conforming to the 4790.2 Naval Aviation Maintenance Program.

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of NDT Quality Testing experience, familiarity with aircraft maintenance, and a degree in a related field. Flexibility in working shifts is required. Candidates should not apply if they lack the desired flexibility or experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with NDT Quality Testing.
• Experience in aircraft heavy maintenance.
• Certified NAS 410 Mobile Automated Scanner System (MAUS).

Responsibilities

• Ensure assurance of Field Operations QMS and related processes.
• Perform audits referenced by Naval Aviation Maintenance Program.
• Support Safety/Quality investigations as directed.

Skills

Certified NAS 410 Eddy current testing (ECT)

Experience with composites and non-porous metals

Ability to work variable shifts

Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)

Non-Conformance Management

Education

AA degree in related NDT discipline

Tools

Structures hand tools (e.g., drills, rivet guns)
