Job summary

Allied Power Group is seeking an Inspector for the day shift in Mills Rd, Houston, TX. The role requires performing repair process inspections and incoming material inspections to ensure compliance with requirements.

Responsibilities include safe shop practices, calibration monitoring, ERP data entry, and performing NDT methods such as ultrasonic, dye penetrant, visual, and magnetic particle testing. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• NDT inspection experience in the combustion turbine repair industry.
• Proficiency with standard NDT methods and documentation."
• Certification in SNT-TC-1 A is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all repair process inspections to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Performs incoming inspection of all raw materials/components/castings received prior to release to the facility.
• Practice and ensure good shop safety practices.
• Monitor and respect tool and equipment calibration.
• Input production data into ERP system.
• Performs Non-Destructive testing, including ultrasonic, dye penetrant, visual and mag particle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
