Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in San Leandro, CA, is seeking an NDT Penetrant Tech (Level 1) for the 2nd shift. You will inspect castings using penetrant methods, train under Level II, and maintain logs and paperwork in a QA environment.

The role requires NAS 410 familiarity, ability to log data, and adherence to safety while working with UV lighting. Compensation includes quarterly incentives, overtime, and comprehensive benefits packages.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or training are included in considerations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Physical ability to perform the essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Certify and maintain certification to Level I in accordance with NAS 410 after training courses.
• Keep a log of all training and OJT required for certification.
• Follow established housekeeping and safety practices to maintain quality.
• Operate penetrant equipment and perform calibrations as required.
• Log data, time and inventory, and forward to next operation.
