Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp (CPP) is seeking a Penetrant Level II on the 2nd shift for our Cudahy, CA facility. The role reports to the NDT Supervisor and involves setting up equipment, inspecting parts, and guiding Level 1 personnel in NAS 410 processes.

Qualifications

• Must hold NAS 410 certification(s) for Penetrant Level II and be able to recertify within five years.
• Strong familiarity with NAS 410-related procedures and inspection practices.
• Experience in interpreting and evaluating parts for acceptance or rejection.

Responsibilities

• Set up standardized equipment and process parts per approved procedures.
• Evaluate results and document findings to support disposition decisions.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable codes, standards and contractual documents.
• Provide guidance and supervision to Level 1 personnel and trainees when required.
• Develop work instructions from approved procedures as directed by Level 3 certified personnel.
