Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. in Gibsonton, FL is seeking an NDT Level I to support the Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection line. You will perform calibrations, process evaluations, and recording results according to instructions, handling investment castings and ensuring penetrant lines meet specs.

You must complete PT certification training (4 hours classroom, 130 hours on-the-job) and maintain SNT-TC-1A certifications, with eligibility to work in the U.S. export-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Achieve and maintain internal certifications per SNT-TC-1A and customer requirements.
• Must become trained to PT certification including 4 hours classroom +130 hours OJT.
• Investment casting experience preferred; knowledge of other NDT disciplines a plus.
• Export license requirement and ability to work with export-controlled technology.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, examine and evaluate processes per written instructions and record results.
• Process investment castings to customer specs per work instructions.
• Maintain penetrant lines within proper parameters (lighting, chemical levels, mixtures).
• Ensure parts are dry and penetrant removed and ready for examination.
