Job summary

Siemens Energy in Gibsonton, Florida seeks an NDT professional to lead and support manufacturing and repair processes for gas turbine components. You will inspect investment castings, perform NDT methods, and collaborate with design and repair teams to reduce fabrication costs.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, experience in at least one NDT discipline (X-ray, FPI, Visual Inspection), and eligibility to work in the United States. Export controls apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in at least one NDT discipline: X-ray, FPI, or Visual Inspection preferred.
• Knowledge of other NDT disciplines and investment casting is a plus.
• Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Export license or license eligibility for export-controlled tech is required.

Responsibilities

• Process and inspect investment castings to customer specifications.
• Cross-train in all methods of NDT (VT, PT, RT-digital, UTT).
• May perform rework as needed.
• Train other employees in NDT techniques when qualified.
• Perform audits (internal and source).
• Interface with production to provide NDT support levels.
