Job summary

Apave America Inc. seeks RT Technicians to join our team at client sites in Cherry Point, WA. The role focuses on setting up, calibrating, and interpreting NDT results in RT, with strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Candidates should hold ASNT RT certification, IRRSP/State Card, and CR/DR experience is preferred; MT/PT/UTT assets are a plus. Travel to multiple sites may be required. Strong documentation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold ASNT RT certification and IRRSP/State Card.
• Thorough understanding of RT/NDT principles and applicable codes.
• Proven experience performing RT inspections in relevant industries.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections: set up and calibrate RT equipment, conduct tests, interpret data and identify defects.
• Apply testing procedures and select appropriate RT methods for applications.
• Document inspection results with detailed reports, photos, and recommendations.
• Adhere to ASNT guidelines, relevant codes, and client specifications.
• Maintain equipment calibration and perform quality checks.
• Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and client personnel on requirements and actions.
• Follow safety protocols and work in diverse environments; support on-the-job training.
