Job summary

CTS Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking Experienced Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Specialists to support the In-Service NDT team based in Tukwila, WA on first shift.

The role focuses on creating and updating NDT procedures, performing tests, and developing CAD drawings for calibration standards to ensure safety and reliability of aircraft components. The position requires a Level II NDT certification with ET, UT, or RT methods experience, plus up-to-date documentation of certified NDT hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of education and work experience in NDI or NDT.
• Current or previous work experience performing at a lvl II NDT technician capacity in ET, UT, or RT methods.
• Can provide documentation of certified NDT hours
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Authors Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
• Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
• Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standard.
• Performs setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
• Composes procedure Figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe/transducer placement, and notch signal response.
• Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
• Provide emergent lvl II NDT support for Company’s portfolio of commercial aircraft across the Puget sound
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
