Job summary

Moeller Aerospace is seeking an NDT Level I Technician to support inspection and QA of aerospace components using approved nondestructive testing methods. You will work under Level II/III supervision to ensure inspections meet industry standards.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment for PT or RT, preparing parts, recording results, maintaining traceability, and following safety protocols in a manufacturing environment. Training may be completed post-hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of formal NDT Level I training hours (NAS 410 / ASNT SNT-TC-1A or equivalent) – can be completed post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections under guidance of Level II/III technicians.
• Set up and operate NDT equipment for PT or RT.
• Prepare parts for inspection (cleaning, masking, handling).
• Record, label and process inspection results per documentation requirements.
• Maintain traceability of inspected parts and documentation flow.
• Follow safety protocols for chemicals, radiation, and aerospace environments.
• Assist in equipment calibration and routine maintenance.
• Report irregularities to supervising Level II/III personnel.
• Support continuous improvement within QA and inspection teams.
