Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Carlstadt, NJ, has an opening in our Quality Department for Radiographic (RT L2) and Fluorescent Penetrant (PT L2) Inspectors to service aerospace components. You will work with digital radiography and FPI in a growing NDT area, applying experience and knowledge to ensure quality for our diverse customer base.

We seek dedicated individuals with NAS 410/ASNT TC-1A Level 2 credentials, ability to obtain a security clearance, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must have NAS 410 or ASNT TC-1A Level 2 in RT/PT with at least 1 year NDT experience.
• Candidates with Level 1 certs may be considered; project demand may require security clearance.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance and pass vision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluorescent penetrant inspections according to procedure.
• Inspect welds and parent material on aerospace components (Inconel, aluminum, steel, titanium).
• Interpret results and determine pass/fail against drawings and specs.
• Maintain inspection areas/equipment and accurate logs.
• Record test results and dispositions; coordinate with QA for corrective actions.
• Possess NAS 410 Level II certification in-house and meet scheduling needs.
