Job summary

Holt Technical Staffing is seeking an NDT Level I Inspector to support non-destructive testing activities in a precision manufacturing environment in Manchester, CT. You will perform FPI, MPI, and Nital Etch per approved procedures, under Level II/III supervision, to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities include maintaining inspection records, participating in internal audits, following safety protocols, and working independently with a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Level I NDT certification with at least 1 year's aerospace or precision manufacturing NDT experience.
• Experience with FPI and MPI; Nital Etch experience is desirable.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication, basic IT, problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Job description

We are seeking an NDT Level I Inspector to support non-destructive testing activities within a precision manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for carrying out inspections in accordance with approved procedures and industry standards, ensuring product quality while working under the guidance of certified Level II or Level III personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform FPI, MPI, and Nital Etch processing in line with approved procedures and specifications.
• Complete routine NDT tasks, maintain accurate inspection records, and verify production documentation.
• Support internal audits and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and work independently on assigned tasks.

Requirements

Working Environment
