Job summary

Holt Technical Staffing seeks an experienced NDT Level III Inspector to provide technical leadership for non-destructive testing within a precision aerospace manufacturing environment. You will lead NDT activities, develop procedures, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The role requires a current NDT Level III certification with 7+ years' aerospace or precision manufacturing experience, with expertise in FPI, MPI, and Nital Etch. X-ray and ultrasonic experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current NDT Level III certification with a minimum of 7 years' aerospace or precision manufacturing NDT experience.
• Proven expertise in FPI, MPI, and Nital Etch inspection; X-ray and ultrasonic experience is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and develop NDT procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and IT skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee NDT activities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
• Develop, approve, and maintain NDT procedures, work instructions, and inspection techniques.
• Perform and review FPI, MPI, and Nital Etch inspections, investigating non-conformances and approving product acceptance.
• Support audits, mentor NDT personnel, and drive continuous improvement across inspection processes.
