Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking an MFL Floor Scan Technician in Baton Rouge, LA. The role requires current certifications in UT, MT, PT, MFL, and Vac Box, with a local candidate focus for Baton Rouge area.

You will set up and calibrate NDT equipment, conduct tests, interpret readings, and report results. The position may involve supervising others and performing specialized inspections while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Certified Level II.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination in line with standards.
• Apply testing criteria and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT, or digital readouts and indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
