Job summary

Acuren is seeking an MFL Floor Scan Technician in the Baton Rouge, LA area. The role requires setting up and calibrating nondestructive testing equipment and performing inspections to detect defects in accordance with applicable standards.

Qualified candidates will hold Level II NDT certifications (UT/MT/PT/MFL/Vac Box) and have a technical background in NDT methods, with strong report-writing skills and safety awareness. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Level II in NDT methods
• Experience interpreting inspection results
• Ability to follow safety regulations and standards

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to detect discontinuities and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, CRTs, and digital readouts
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections and supervise others when needed
