Job summary

Acuren is seeking an NDT Level II Technician for on-site work in Baton Rouge. The role focuses on setting up testing equipment, performing inspections, and reporting results to ensure structural integrity.

Ideal candidates have Level II certification in PT/VT/UT, relevant NDT methods experience, and the ability to interpret test data. This on-site position includes hands-on responsibilities and potential supervision of junior staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Certified Level II in PT/VT/UT or PMI.
• SPRAT/IRATA Level I certification is a plus.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections; may supervise others.
