Job summary

Acuren Inc. is seeking an MFL Floor Scan Technician in the La Porte/Houston area to support non-destructive testing programs.

You will set up and calibrate testing equipment, conduct inspections to detect defects, and interpret results while strictly following safety regulations. A High School Diploma, Level II certification, and knowledge of NDT methods are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Certified Level II.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to perform NDT tasks and interpret results.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety regulations and establish examination techniques.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and indicators.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for an MFL Floor Scan Technician.

Requirements: Current certifications in UT, MT, PT, MFL, and Vacuum Box (Vac Box).

This position is currently open to qualified local candidates in the La Porte and Houston area.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements
