Job summary

Acuren is seeking an Entry Level NDT Assistant to support operations in Rincon, GA. This local role may involve some travel and requires assisting in calibrations and NDT evaluations to determine acceptance or rejection according to written instructions and record results.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, assisting Radiographers, and documenting inspection outcomes. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with some college preferred and a background check and drug

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college is preferred to support training.
• Technical background is desired for NDT work.
• Must pass drug/alcohol and background screens as per client requirements.
• Driving record must meet company standards to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in calibrating NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures and carry equipment.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.

Education
