Acuren Inspection, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking RT Assistants to support our call-out operations.

Local candidates are preferred as RT Assistants depart the Tulsa shop and travel to job sites on short notice to assist with calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations. You will follow written instructions, record results, and assist Radiographers with test setup and operation while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Must pass background check and meet regulatory standards
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one
• 40 HRad Radiation Safety Training required/preferred
• IRRPS card and TWIC are a plus, in Tulsa area

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures and transport equipment
• Perform other job tasks as assigned by management

Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for RT Assistants for call-out work to support our operation in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Call-out work requires employees to depart from the Tulsa shop and travel to job sites on short notice. RT Assistants will assist in performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results. LOCATION REQUIREMENTS: We are currently seeking local candidates based in Tulsa, OK or surrounding area (within approximately a 30-mile radius. RT Assistants will assist in performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
• Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
• 40 Hou Radiation Safety Training (40RAD)
• Industrial Radiographer State Card preferred/Trainee status a plus
• IRRPS card
• Valid TWIC card or be able to obtain
• Based in Tulsa, OK or surrounding area (within approximately a 30-mile radius)
