The ideal candidate holds a California RN license, a baccalaureate or master’s degree with nursing-related coursework, and at least three years of RN patient care experience.

Qualifikationen

• Current and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in California.
• A baccalaureate or master’s degree from an accredited college with nursing-related coursework as defined by CCR Section 1425(d).
• Three years of continuous RN patient care experience within the last five years.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Coordinate and implement orientation activities.
• Integrate current technologies and online activities in NCLEX prep.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and NCLEX test plans.
• Provide tips on test-taking and study habits to students.
• Monitor and report student NCLEX preparation progress.
• Collaborate with VN Program leadership and faculty on remediation and progress updates.
• Assist in evaluating student progress and providing feedback to the VN Program Coordinator.
• Develop improvement plans for students with low passing grades.
• Participate in program evaluation, goal setting, and updates with the Program Coordinator.
• Collaborate on projects with VN Coordinator as needed.
• Participate in faculty meetings and in-service training to improve teaching methods.
