Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts in San Jose, CA seeks an NCLEX Coordinator for the Vocational Nursing program. This full-time on-campus role supports NCLEX prep through guided review of exam-style questions and collaboration with program leadership and faculty.

The successful candidate will have an RN license in CA, a 4-year degree or higher, and at least 3 years of direct patient care experience, contributing to a high-quality nursing education experience.

Formación

• Current and unencumbered RN license in California.
• Bachelor's or master's degree that includes nursing-related coursework as defined by CCR 1425(d).
• Three years of continuous RN direct patient care within the last five years.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate excellent presentation & communication skills.
• Demonstrates professional boundaries.
• Assist in coordination and implementation of orientation activities.
• Demonstrates effective use of current technologies and online activities.
• Stay current and compliant to enforce school policies.
• Provide test-taking and study-habit tips to students.
• Learn and retain knowledge related to NCLEX test item writing and test plans.
• Motivate and engage students in NCLEX preparation tools.
• Maintain communication with students to monitor NCLEX progress.
• Monitor student progress in NCLEX prep assignments.
• Track and report student status after completing NCLEX prep and readiness.
