Job Description

Transform technology into opportunity as an Oracle Database Administrator with GDIT. Join our enterprise IT team to connect and enhance critical systems, playing a vital role in improving agency operations.

Our work is based at Quantico, VA, within the NCIS ITD organization.

Impact of Your Role

• Create dynamic web pages using HTML, Oracle mod_plsql, Oracle webforms, and Oracle APEX.
• Maintain existing Oracle packages, webforms, and APEX applications.
• Create and maintain Oracle tables and packages.
• Patch and upgrade Oracle systems as needed.
• Develop procedures for data management and migration, including testing and validation.
• Maintain data security, integrity, and analytical systems.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance, with ability to obtain SCI access.
• 5+ years of experience in database management.
• Experience with Oracle 18c or higher, RAC, SQL, PL/SQL, and query tuning.
• Strong HTML, CSS, AJAX, and JSON skills.
• Experience with Linux systems hosting Oracle.
• Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Location: Hybrid onsite in Quantico, VA, and remote.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, RDBMS modeling, Data Integrity, SQL Developer/TOAD.

Additional Information

Salary range: $121,680 - $155,250, based on experience and location.

Work hours: 40/week, no travel required, hybrid work environment.
