Job summary

Oakland University is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to assist the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance in managing NCAA compliance for the university's intercollegiate athletics. The role coordinates activities in line with NCAA, conference, and university policies.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree (preferred in Sports Management or related field) and prior NCAA athletics compliance experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or related field required.
• Previous NCAA athletics compliance experience preferred.
• Proficiency with standard computer tools and communications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate NCAA compliance and athletic rules enforcement.
• Support reporting to General Counsel through the Assistant Athletic Director.
• Ensure activities align with NCAA, conference and Oakland University policies and guidelines.
• Use NCAA compliance software (ARMS) and Ellucian Banner systems.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills and effective communication.
