Job summary

The University of Utah seeks an Assistant Director of Athletics Compliance to oversee the day-to-day NCAA compliance program within Division I athletics. The role focuses on serving as the primary liaison for sport programs and supporting governance processes across the department.

Responsibilities include investigations, reporting, waiver preparation, education programs, and ensuring roster eligibility accuracy using Compliance + Recruiting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree may substitute for experience.
• 2+ years NCAA Division I compliance experience or 1+ year at Autonomy Five with relevant duties.
• Strong knowledge of NCAA rules, governance, and appeals processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary compliance liaison for assigned sport programs.
• Investigation, documentation, and reporting of NCAA rules violations.
• Prepare and submit NCAA and Big 12 waivers.
• Deliver a comprehensive rules education program for constituents.
