Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking a North Carolina Pre-K Lead Teacher to oversee classroom activities and implement the state curriculum. You will design engaging experiences to support children's development across health, social-emotional, cognitive, and creative domains.

The role requires 18+, HS diploma, preschool teaching experience, a Bachelor's Degree, and active pursuit of NC licensure with eligible licensure options.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and one year of preschool teaching experience.
• Bachelor's Degree required and active pursuit of NC Birth through Kindergarten (B-K) or Preschool Add-on licensure.
• Qualify for one of the NC licensure options listed in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee classroom activities in line with NC Division of Child Development and Early Education standards.
• Design and implement learning experiences spanning physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, and creative expression.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor School Readiness Goals and tailor curriculum for individual children, including those with disabilities.
• Uphold health and safety protocols, hygiene, food handling, illness management, and supervision.
