Job summary

Child Development Schools seeks a North Carolina Pre-K Lead Teacher to guide classroom activities under NC Pre-K standards and provide a nurturing learning environment. You will design engaging activities across physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and creative domains, while monitoring progress toward readiness goals and ensuring safety.

The role emphasizes strong communication with families and collaboration with a supportive team in a diverse setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree and NC licensure pathway in B-K or Preschool Add-on.
• At least 1 year of preschool teaching experience.
• Ability to align with NC Pre-K Curriculum and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee classroom activities and adhere to NC Division of Child Development standards.
• Design and implement learning experiences across developmental areas.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor School Readiness progress.
• Maintain health and safety protocols and supervise children at all times.
