Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking a Chemical Operations Specialist to defend against NBC threats and support disaster relief efforts. You will be trained to operate CBRN detection and decontamination equipment and apply NBC defense measures.

During training you will complete Basic and Advanced Individual Training, earn while you learn, and gain access to tuition assistance, retirement benefits, health care, and loan programs.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ages 17–35, able to pass physical exam.
• Citizenship per National Guard requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide training advice and supervision regarding CBRN equipment and operations.
• Operate and maintain NBC detection and decontamination equipment.
• Coordinate with civilian personnel on emergency procedures.
