Job summary

Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead Navy UCVS/C4I programs under NIWC. The role involves directing cross-functional teams, managing multi-million-dollar contracts, and ensuring contractual compliance and financial health. Hybrid work from Suffolk, VA is required.

Ideal candidates have DoD Secret clearance, 15+ years in DoD/Navy programs, 8+ years PM leadership, and 5+ years in Navy C4I/enterprise voice initiatives, with PMP and advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• 15+ years progressively responsible technical experience supporting complex DoD or Navy programs.
• 8+ years Program Management experience leading large-scale technology, engineering, or communications programs.
• 5+ years managing Navy C4I, telecommunications, Unified Communications, or enterprise voice programs.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar contracts (Cost Plus, FFP, or T&M).
• Experience with budgets, forecasting, labor planning, revenue recognition, subcontractor management, and contract funding.
• Experience with CDRLs, CLINs, ACRNs, contract modifications, and government reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead program execution for Navy UCVS/C4I contracts, ensuring technical, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Interface with Government COs, CORs, TPOCs, NIWC leadership, subcontractors, and executives.
• Supervise teams across Equipment Support, System Support, Engineering, Installation, Sustainment, and PM activities.
• Manage program financial performance including revenue forecasting and cost controls.
• Oversee contract funding by CLIN/ACRN/CDRL and ensure alignment with funding.
• Present program status reviews and executive dashboards to leadership.
