Job summary

Sellers and Associates, LLC is seeking an Instructional Systems Specialist to support the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of Navy training and education programs. The role applies ISD principles and emerging learning technologies to develop effective, technically accurate, and mission-focused training solutions.

Location is Groton, CT with 0-10% travel and a Secret clearance requirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing or supporting an educational design and development project.
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience supporting a contract for the U.S. Navy, DoD, or another DoD agency.
• Experience with design, development, and analysis of training systems or programs.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Navy training and educational programs.
• Apply instructional systems design methodologies and Navy training development processes.
• Conduct training analyses to identify performance requirements, gaps, and learning objectives.
• Develop, review, and revise curricula, courseware, lesson plans, assessments, and training documents.
• Coordinate with Government personnel, instructors, SMEs, and stakeholders to reflect operational requirements.
• Support integration of emerging technologies within training environments, including LMS, browser-based apps, and video technologies.
• Support training modernization initiatives to improve instructional effectiveness and accessibility.
• Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with Navy and DoD standards.
• Support configuration management and maintenance of training products throughout their lifecycle.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and program documentation as required.
• Ensure materials comply with security, classification, and CUI requirements.
