Job summary

Hatalom Corporation in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Instructional Designer to plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate Navy training materials in support of CENSECFOR. The role ensures compliance with Navy standards and delivers ISD support on-site.

The ideal candidate will create Training Plans, conduct JDTA, develop COIs and TCCDs, and produce multimedia learning products while leveraging AI tools and SharePoint for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher in instructional design or related field with 1+ year relevant experience.
• HS diploma with 5+ years of training/curriculum development experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools for instructional design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (3+ years).
• Experience across ISD phases (ADDIE or similar).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop Training Project Plans (TPPs) to guide curriculum development.
• Conduct Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA) to develop Course Training Task Lists (CTTLs).
• Create TCCDs, including COI, objectives, CMS and resources.
• Develop Lesson Plans, Student Guides, and instructional materials.
• Create AI-assisted testing materials (KTAG, PTAG, Master Test Bank).
• Design instructional strategies, sequencing, and learning relationships.
• Develop measurable learning objectives aligned with NAVEDTRA standards.
• Support Front-End Analysis, Business Case Analysis, and Training Requirements Reviews.
• Develop traceability matrices linking JDTA outputs to learning objectives.
• Identify training gaps and redundancies.
• Participate in pilot courses, evaluations, and continuous improvement.
