Serco is seeking a Non-Propulsion Electronics Systems (NPES) Engineer to support U.S. Navy submarine operations and advanced undersea warfare systems from our Rockville, MD office.

The role leverages Navy experience to maintain, troubleshoot, test, and evaluate submarine fire control and combat systems. Ideal candidates will have DoW Secret clearance eligibility, prior Navy Fire Control/FC experience, and a strong ability to translate fleet feedback into technical requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of DoW/Armed Services experience.
• Experience with Navy fire control, combat control, weapons control, or related tactical systems.
• Ability to obtain DoW Secret clearance.
• Strong reading of technical manuals and schematics.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical and operational expertise on Navy submarine fire control and weapons systems.
• Support operation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of fire control equipment.
• Analyze system performance and help resolve hardware/software issues.
• Coordinate with Navy and industry partners on issues.
• Prepare technical reports, briefings, and documentation.
• Assist with test plans, procedures, and evaluations.
